UKIM’s scientific and artistic repository represents a digital archive of the University’s collection of records and written papers related to its scientific and artistic opus but also it allows open and controlled access to available contents, search and further easy processing.
The main purpose of the repository is to permanently store the metadata of these papers in a standardized way which enables easy processing, exchange and search, thus raising the level of visibility of the University as a whole.
The repository also allows permanent storage of the above mentioned as well as indexing of entire texts in order to easily search by the use of keywords. The access control is highly granular and allows defining a different approach towards each digital archive but also towards each recorded entry individually. The principal rule is going to be an open access policy for all collections except books.
